I use Lightroom regularly - remember that RAW files (RAF in Fuji) are unprocessed files containing all the picture data and have NOT been processed by the camera so they will always appear dull and flat. The image you see on your camera screen is a processed Jpeg version. Raw files allow you to process the image to your personal tastes. The ‘worm’ problem is a common one with Fuji raw files processed in Lightroom or Camera Raw; Adobe has failed to fine tune their raw processor to work with X-Trans files properly due to the different sensor array than most cameras, which have the Bayer array. I could see no issues with my results. I also downloaded a trial of the Iridient app (not X-Transformer). I’ll try it and also download a trial of CaptureOne and try that for comparison also. The Iridient app is on sale for 25% off.
5 Jan 2018 I am new to the Fuji X system and currently shoot in RAW and Jpeg. on the Fuji, the Jpegs are fine, however if I do want to convert RAW files is LR up to the task? I did download the Fuji version of SilkyPix this evening and tried it on It only supports a few models XT 2 X Pro 2 H1 and a couple more.
