Inside my guest VM, I have a PowerShell script that does some automation. However, I am trying to invoke that PowerShell script from outside using PowerCLI (inside PowerShell). Currently, my script works but instead of "running" the PowerShell script inside the guest VM, it opens it as a text file instead. I had the requirement to shut down a large number of dedicated virtual machines listed in a .txt file and to turn them on again after a short time. Additionally, I wanted to report the power state of these VMs after the scripted shutdown in a .csv file, to ensure that they were definitely powered off.
